Point is what about people who don't have the store or no internet, they're just sol? I'm not even sure I have the store, I just know I do not have any windows update functionality and I think the two are kinda connected - though I don't really want to try - if I'm unlucky it revives my waasmedic, it did last time when I did the dism command, not going to risk this again, waasmedic is dead and that's the only way I can endure him.

The best thing is I could swear my recent install was from the installer it still shows up under "recently added" which it previously didn't do (iirc)
Well that's what it appears like, but the definitely *is* a way and it is included in the driver it just doesn't always install for some reason, see above it's either clean install option, or you have to be offline perhaps - I'm definitely not sure but I know it installs without the pesky store pop-up sometimes (and sometimes not) It is only available for download/install from the Windows store now. Right-click on the NVIDIA graphics card option and select enable. Nvidia control panel is no longer bundled with the driver package. Is there any way to fix this or am I looking at a new install of windows? I will say in the time its took me to troubleshoot this, I could have reinstalled and set up windows.

Since the, I've tried reinstalling multiple different nvidia drivers using both methods. I checked with device manager and gpuz to confirm the drivers were in place and functional. I checked in all programs to confirm the driver was def installed. Just spun for a few seconds then stopped.
I tried running the nvidia shortcut in the start menu. In the list of services, look for services whose name start with NVIDIA. Here, you will find all the running services on your PC. Step 2: This will open the Services window. Now, type services.msc in the Run box and press Enter button. It wasnt in the system tray and it was missing from the right click context menu.
